Veterans’ Services—It’s Our Turn to Serve You

York Technical College is proud of its veterans. We honor the sacrifices they have made, and we’re committed to making them feel welcome and supported. York Tech has a long tradition of providing education and training to veterans seeking to gain new skills, enhance existing skills, or translate the skills they learned in the military to the civilian workplace.

A Place of Their Own

As part of its commitment, the college has established an inviting place on campus just for its veterans—any of our students, faculty, or staff who have served in the military—to get connected and receive the resources they need to succeed.

In a suite of rooms in the Student Services building, veterans can take advantage of three comfortable spaces: a fully-equipped computer lab, a quiet area to study between classes, and a lounge, which will also host special events for veterans. It’s a place to get connected, get support, and support others with common experiences.

In addition to the regular services offered by Veterans’ Services, there are weekly guest speakers from York Tech’s Counseling and Support Services, faculty, and community organizations on topics such as adjusting to college, learning strategies, and getting the most from your veterans’ benefits.
