Criminal Justice

The men and women who graduate from York Technical College’s Criminal Justice Technology program mature to become some of the most respected members of our communities as police officers, sheriff’s deputies, detention officers, and more.

Not everyone is cut out for work in criminal justice, but for those who have what it takes, York Tech’s Associate of Applied Science degree with a major in Criminal Justice Technology prepares them for these challenging, yet rewarding, careers.

Our students learn from current and retired police and parole officers, state investigators, and other experienced criminal justice professionals. Beyond the classroom, Criminal Justice faculty members serve as mentors to prepare students for successful careers in public service and protection.

Early Childhood Education

Caring for children, and helping them get off to the best possible start, is vitally important – and it can be an exciting and rewarding career. The professionals who find success in early childhood development are mature, patient people – and they love children. A sense of humor helps too!

An Early Childhood Development degree or certificate from York Technical College lets others know that you are serious about your career and are prepared for professional advancement. That’s why our graduates are in high demand by area employers.

York Tech offers four Early Childhood Development programs:

• Early Care and Education Associate Degree
• Early Childhood Development Certificate
• Child Care Management Certificate
• Infant and Toddler Development Certificate
